Buccaneers Coach Bruce Arians Already Impressed With Rookie QB Kyle Trask

NFL teams are always looking toward the future, and one player whom the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have pegged as a part of their future is quarterback Kyle Trask.

Trask, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the draft a few weeks back, is expected to be a part of the Bucs for years to come, eventually stepping in for Tom Brady once the G.O.A.T. decides to retire.

This past weekend, the Buccaneers had a mini-camp, and Trask put in a solid performance, according to head coach Bruce Arians, who spoke to the media about his new second-round project.

“I think he’s great,” Arians said of Trask.

“I thought he was fantastic. He’s got three guys coaching the s–t out of him on every play, so they need to calm down and let him go. I’m really pleased with where he’s at right now.”

Many didn't have the Buccaneers taking Trask as high as they did in round two, but knowing that the team will eventually need a QB and the talent that Trask brings to the table, it was a no-brainer, according to Arians.

Arians was especially impressed with Trask's ability to grasp the offense quickly. We'll see whether Trask continues to impress his coaching staff and teammates as the offseason unfolds.
