Alvin Kamara Has A New Breakfast Cereal, And It Isn't In The Shape Of His Nose Ring

Move over, Flutie Flakes. Step aside, MarinO's. Back of the cupboard, Chrebet Crunch. There's a new NFL player-themed cereal hitting grocery shelves, and this time, those spoonfuls of sugar your kids are shoving into their mouths will come by way of Saints running back Alvin Kamara.

As of Thursday, Kamara's King Crunch is now available in parts of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, select locations near the University of Tennessee, and online. A portion of the cereal's sales will be donated to the Children’s Bureau of New Orleans, which offers mental health services to underserved children.

Despite rumors that the shape of the honey-oat cereal would take the shape of Kamara's trademark nose ring, Kamara's King Crunch is of the more appetizing and traditional flake variety.

A four-time Pro Bowler, Kamara commented on the cereal via a press release from PLB Sports and Entertainment (PBLSE): “I’m very excited about creating my own cereal box. I get to live out a childhood dream and help support the incredible work that the Children’s Bureau of New Orleans is doing to bring mental wellness resources to kids and families in the city.”

Entering his fifth-season with New Orleans, Kamara has more than 6,000 yards from scrimmage, 58 touchdowns and one cereal.
