Aaron Rodgers Continues Evolution Into Whiny Baby With Recent Clothing Choice
Aaron Rodgers isn't done sending indirect messages to the Green Bay Packers.
Rodgers skipped Green Bay's mandatory minicamp last week as a show of his frustration and displeasure with the organization, and Packers President Mark Murphy called Rodgers a "complicated fella" over the weekend, Yahoo Sports reports.
The feud between the Packers organization and Rodgers has dominated the NFL media cycle, and on Tuesday, Rodgers showed up to a press event to promote "The Match," the charity golf exhibition wearing a black T-shirt with white letters that read: "I'M OFFENDED" and had an emoji with an angry face.
The golf exhibition will feature Buccaneers QB Tom Brady and golfer Phil Mickelson against Rodgers and golfer Bryson DeChambeau in July.
Brady tried to get a reaction out of Rodgers by making a joke about a costly decision that may have cost Green Bay a chance to make it to Super Bowl 55, Yahoo Sports reports.
"I do think you have a partner that would probably have liked to go for it a little more often than he has in the past," Brady said.
DeChambeau stuck up for Rodgers and said he wouldn't force Rodgers into anything he didn't want to do on the golf course, but Rodgers said, "Well, I usually don't get the option."
It's assumed Brady was referring to the NFC Championship Game when the Buccaneers beat Rodgers and the Packers, in part, because of a late decision by coach Matt LaFleur.
The Match will be held at the Reserve golf course at Moonlight Basin in Montana on July 6.
