NFL Week 1 Slate For Fox Sports Announced, Including America’s Game of the Week On FOX

Videos by OutKick

The full 17-game NFL schedule will not be released until Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET. We are inching closer to that moment, but in the meantime, Fox Sports revealed its entire Week 1 slate this morning on Fox & Friends. We’ll start off with America’s Game of the Week on FOX.

On Sunday, Sept. 12, the Saints will host the Packers in an NFC showdown.

We already know the Drew Brees era in New Orleans has come to an end, as he announced his retirement back in March. The question is whether the Aaron Rodgers era in Green Bay is over as well. Either way, these are two respected franchises, so the game should attract plenty of eyeballs.

As for the rest of the Week 1 slate that will be on FOX, you can view that below.

All times are Eastern.

  • Philadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons (1:00 p.m.)
  • Minnesota Vikings at Cincinnati Bengals (1:00 p.m.)
  • San Francisco 49ers at Detroit Lions (1:00 p.m.)
  • Seattle Seahawks at Indianapolis Colts (1:00 p.m.)
  • Denver Broncos at New York Giants (4:25 p.m.)
  • Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints (4:25 p.m.) – AGOTW

Seeing legendary, former head coach Jimmy Johnson announce the slate with Cleatus the Robot this morning on Fox & Friends was a blast. Hopefully, we will see those types of announcements more often.
