NFL Requests PED Test From OBJ Following Monday Night Performance

Odell Beckham, Jr. didn't give the Cleveland Browns much of a reason to drug test him for PEDs, as the "PE" portion was missing during his 29-game tenure.

Now that he's part of the Los Angeles Rams and riding with a Super Bowl contender, OBJ is seizing the moment and playing up to expectations — which made the NFL skeptical and asked Beckham to undergo a drug test.

In his first playoff game (and win) since a 38-13 loss in the 2017 Wild Card round with the New York Giants, Beckham caught four passes for 54 yards and one touchdown to help the Rams beat the Arizona Cardinals, 34-11. He also reignited his quarterbackering skills with a 40-yard completion to running back Cam Akers in the third.

OBJ seems to be over his three-drop showcase in Wisconsin, but the NFL isn't acknowledging the Rams performance as a natural outcome.

Beckham announced on Wednesday that the League requested a random drug test after watching his Monday Night Football performance — which he saw as a flattering gesture sorely missed during his time in Cleveland.

He posted the request via his personal social media and also clowned the League for getting their conspiracy hats to justify the three-time Pro Bowler's stats.

With a pent-up desire to reclaim a spotlight left in the Big Apple, Beckham is catching plenty of positive press throughout his run with Los Angeles. In nine total games with the Rams, Beckham has caught six touchdown passes — nearly meeting his seven scores from roughly three seasons with Cleveland.

The Rams move on to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Divisional Round.
