NFL Network Runs Brutally Awkward Clip of Deshaun Watson on Top 100 List

The NFL Network ranked Deshaun Watson as the 18th best player in the NFL on its annual Top 100 Players list. No argument about that.

Here's where the argument begins:

Because 22 women have accused Watson of sexual misconduct, his future in the league is in doubt. So the NFL Network correctly acknowledged the uncertainty.

However, everything else about the video was uncomfortable:

“Nobody knows when Deshaun Watson will take the field again,” the narrator says at the start.

“His future is uncertain, but his talent is unquestioned. The skill is no mystery, almost everything else is.”

Really? That's the best they could come up with?

The producers then ran grim music in the background, making the video even more awkward than it already is. And unlike the rest of the clips, the video for Watson was devoid of interviews.

The NFL Network was forced to make the best out of a bad situation, and this is what they came up with.
