Nebraska's 9/11 Tunnel Walk Revisited: 20 Years Later

In the wake of the 9/11 attacks in 2001, the following weeks and months served as tributes and memorials for those we lost on that day.

And on Sept. 20, 2001, nine days after the attack, Nebraska football was set to host the largest crowd for a sporting event since that day. But what happened before kickoff would send a lump into the throats of every American with a special rendition of the famous "Tunnel Walk."

Instead of the the players coming down those halls, however, it was a group of policeman, firefighters and first responders. The roar of over 100,000 in Lincoln was felt throughout all of America and is felt today.

Look no further than the tribute to this moment from FOX's Big Noon Kickoff this morning.

A perfect moment. All of it. And one that we will never forget.
