NDSU's Trey Lance Hosts 30 NFL Teams For His Pro Day

Top quarterback prospect Trey Lance likely improved his draft stock after his North Dakota State Pro Day workout drew 30 NFL clubs.

Lance is projected to be selected No. 8 overall by the Panthers in the latest mock draft from NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah. Panthers head coach Matt Rhule and offensive coordinator Joe Brady were both present at the event.

The NFL Network reports general managers for the Bears, Broncos, Raiders, Jets, Seahawks and Vikings were present as well.

Lance announced in October he would be pursuing an NFL career.

Lance is the fourth-ranked quarterback and 10th-best player in this year's CBS Sports prospect rankings.

Three of four CBS Sports NFL draft analysts have the 49ers selecting the sophomore QB with the No. 12 overall pick.

Lance said he's "super thankful" to everyone who came out to make NDSU's Pro Day happen.

"I love football, I treat people the right way, and I'm super thankful," he said.

NDSU's Pro Day also featured offensive tackle Dillon Radunz, who landed the No. 44 spot on the latest mock draft from NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah.
