Trevor Lawrence Tosses First Career Pick-Six Against Syracuse

Trevor Lawrence is currently the top quarterback prospect for the 2021 NFL draft class. He's actually considered a generational talent, but that doesn't make him perfect. He might seem super human at times, but mistakes are still made.

That includes his first ever pix-six, which came against Syracuse on Saturday. With his team up 24-7 late in the first half, Lawrence tossed his first interception of the game. Garrett Williams returned that interception 39 yards for a score to put the score at 24-14.

But of course Lawrence responded by completing all seven of his pass attempts on the ensuring drive. Add in a few runs from the former five-star quarterback as well, and the result was an 11-play, 56-yard drive that resulted in a field goal to extend the lead to 27-14 before the half.

Despite that pick-six, Lawrence has still thrown for 203 yards on 20 of 32 pass attempts (62.5 percent) with two touchdowns and only the one interception. He's also added three rushes for 19 yards on the ground.

The pick-six was bound to happen eventually, but it doesn't look like it's going to affect the Heisman Trophy candidate.
