Star Georgia WR George Pickens Suffers Torn ACL

Georgia could be without its top weapon for the 2021 season after star WR George Pickens suffered a torn ACL in practice on Tuesday.

“The good news is that the MRI showed it to be an isolated injury with no other structures involved,” head coach Kirby Smart said. “George is a hard worker. I know he will bring the same work ethic to rehab that he shows in practice every day.”

The school didn't provide a timeline for his surgery, but said Pickens has already begun going through pre-operation rehabilitation.
