Rose Bowl Goes A Little Overboard With Bama Confetti

Did the Rose Bowl even buy Notre Dame confetti? That's the big question to come out of Alabama's expected blowout (yes, it was a blowout despite the Irish covering late) where you could've easily gotten a nap only to wake up to the Rose Bowl's confetti gun giving 110%.

A video posted by Al.com reporter Michael Casagrande shows what appears to be five to six -- it appears there are double-barrels blasting at one point -- confetti blasts during the Rose Bowl trophy presentation. And then it's all over.

There is an investigative piece sitting out there for a big-time journalist. Dig into how many confetti blasts Notre Dame would've received if the Irish pulled off the upset of the century. Bonus question: what does the Rose Bowl do with leftover Irish confetti? The correct answer should be that the school gets to keep it and sell it on its merchandise page. Never forget, people in Indiana celebrate being finalists.

How much does Rose Bowl confetti sell for on eBay? Someone has 10 pieces from the Oregon-Wisconsin 2020 Rose Bowl listed for $10. Don't laugh, there's a fan out there somewhere looking to make a collage for his/her wall.
