Plane Flying Over Neyland Stadium Carries Message On Jeremy Pruitt

At least one fan is apparently willing to pay good money to strongly encourage the Tennessee football program to make a coaching change, according to Richard G. West, who claims to be the "No. 1 Breaking News Reporter in South Knoxville."

West tweeted a picture of a small airplane flying over Neyland Stadium that toted a small but powerful message: "Fire Pruitt."

"Pruitt" refers to Jeremy Pruitt, the third-year coach of the Volunteers, who has compiled a 16-19 overall record and a 10-16 conference record at a once-proud program. Tennessee went from 8-5 last season to 3-7 this one.

Per West, the plane had been flying over the stadium for no less than one hour.

Some Tennessee fans have been clamoring for Hugh Freeze to replace Pruitt. Freeze, of course, has been working some football miracles at Liberty University.

But the bottom line for now is Tennessee still has a coach. He goes by the name of Pruitt, and whether fans like it or not, no one else is penciled in to come and try to save the day.
