Minnesota Unveils New Threads For Primetime Showdown With Buckeyes

The Minnesota Golden Gophers have unveiled some alternate uniforms just in time for the season opener against Ohio State on Sept. 2.

The official Minnesota Football Twitter account dropped the reveal in an emotional video, which includes the players' reaction to seeing the new threads for the first time.

The Golden Gophers will host the Buckeyes on a Thursday in a 7 p.m. primetime spot on FOX to kick off the season before hosting Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 11.
