Lane Kiffin Calls For Manning Bros To Cover Tennessee vs Ole Miss Matchup

After sampling the delicious banter between brothers — and football legends — Peyton and Eli Manning during the first Monday Night Football matchup of the season, Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin wouldn't mind hearing the two go at it once more when their alma maters face off on Oct. 16.

Anticipated as the "Manningcast," Ole Miss' matchup against Tennessee has turned into prime battleground for brother to go against brother — which incited Lane to tweet at ESPN and demand they give both Mannings the mic for this game.

"Come on @ESPNCFB give the people what they want @Vol_Football @OleMissFB  #WeWantEli #WeWantPeyton," tweeted Kiffin.

During Monday Night Football's primetime broadcast between the Baltimore Ravens and Las Vegas Raiders, Peyton and Eli cracked jokes with fellow retiree Ray Lewis and current stars of the game like Russell Wilson and spent some time in the studio pulling off brotherly antics — while still keeping the commentary about football.

Kiffin, whose reputation in Tennessee is still on the mend since he abruptly departed the football program for USC, is voicing the sentiment of the public here. After Monday's entertaining glimpse of a Manning-led broadcast, audiences can assume the potential for Peyton and Eli to come to brotherly blows if the game is a hotly contested battle.

The demand should be overwhelming and ESPN would certainly be making the right move by plugging in the Mannings — on top of their contracted 10 MNF appearances in the upcoming season.

However, Peyton's gonna have to be way over his XXL head to pick Tennessee.
