Kirk Herbstreit Is On The Lane Train
Ole Miss beat Louisville last night to cap off the opening of college football, and ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, who called the game live, has a message for any team that thinks they can start slow against the Rebels this year.
Under the tutelage of offensive mastermind Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss sports a balanced attack that looks like it can hang with any team in the country.
They may have faced an inferior opponent last night in Atlanta for the Chick-fil-a Kickoff Game, but the Rebels still passed the ‘eye test.’
This team has depth across the board on offense, a quarterback with a big arm, and a coaching staff that wants to play fast. Herbie even mentioned ESPN’s inability to show replays because of the utter speed of the game.
All told, as long as the Rebels take care of the ball this year, they will be a very tough team to catch from behind.
