Football Forthcoming: Pac-12 Releases 2021 Schedule

The Pac-12 is ready for some football. We all are, probably. But the Pac-12 proved it Tuesday by releasing the schedule for the 2021 season.

The fun begins August 28, when UCLA hosts Hawaii. All other Pac-12 programs will kick off the season the following week.

Overall, each Pac-12 team will play 12 games on 13 weekends, including nine conference games. The Pac-12 is divided into two six-team divisions -- the North and South. Each school is scheduled to play five games against teams from the same division.

Last year, Oregon defeated USC to win the conference championship.

This year, conference play starts with USC, which plays Stanford on Sept. 11. USC will then face Washington State the next week, before all Pac-12 programs begin conference play Sept. 25.

There will also be some notable non-conference games. The list includes UCLA vs. LSU (Sept. 4), Oregon at Ohio State (Sept. 11), Washington at Michigan (Sept. 11), and Colorado vs. Texas A&M (Sept. 11). Stanford also faces Notre Dame to close the regular season on Nov. 27.

And for the first time in conference history, the Pac-12 Championship Game will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. That matchup of regular-season division champs is slated for Dec. 3.
