Deion Sanders Lands Yet Another Major Player At Jackson State

Deion Sanders is already making waves in his new position as football coach at Jackson State, and the latest example of that is a former Auburn defensive tackle.

That would be none other Coynis Miller Jr., a 2018 four-straight recruit who is transferring to join Sanders with the Tigers.

Sanders has picked up a number of Power Five transfers, with Miller just being the latest. Missouri’s Aubrey Miller and Dylan Spencer, USC’s Abdul-Malik McClain, Florida State’s Nyles Gaddy and Missississippi State’s Javorrius Selmson have all made their way to Jackson State -- as has Sanders' own son, Shilo, formerly of South Carolina.

There's more.

"Jackson State made headlines on early signing day when it signed the top class in FCS football, and one of the best classes in all of college football," wrote Steven J. Gaither of HBCU Gameday. "That class also included Sanders’ son Shedeur, a four-star quarterback that had initially committed to Florida Atlantic."

They say a big part of coaching in college is recruiting, and that being the case, the man they call Prime Time is already coming up big.
