WATCH: Protestors Charge Barclays Center In Support Of Kyrie Irving

The Brooklyn Nets are 1-1 to start the season and missing guard Kyrie Irving over his unvaccinated status.

Unable to join the Nets for all team-related activities indefinitely, encroachment on Irving's personal choice continues to hurt the team, is costing Kyrie tens of millions in salary and discouraging a fan base eager to see their Big 3 on the court.

Ahead of Sunday's game against the Charlotte Hornets at Barclays Center, a group of protestors appeared outside of the venue — hoisting American flags, wearing "I Stand With Kyrie" shirts and breaking out into Let Kyrie Play chants to challenge general manager Sean Marks and team governor Joe Tsai's decision to keep Kyrie sidelined until he gets the jab.

As reported by OutKick's Meg Turner, the team's decision has also been dictated New York City's mandatory vaccine ruling: prohibiting unvaccinated citizens from entering indoor businesses without proof of vaccination.
