Nate Burleson Is NFL Network's First Choice to Front Revamped Total Access

NFL Network is looking to revamp its nightly Total Access studio show. Nate Burleson is the network's first choice to front it, sources tell Outkick.

An NFL Media spokesperson declined to comment on the news.

It's unknown if Burelson, 38, will accept the job. If he does, he will leave the network's morning show, Good Morning Football. Thus, this would open up a spot alongside Kay Adams, Peter Schrager, and Kyle Brandt.

MJ Acosta is receiving strong consideration to host Total Access, sources say. Its rival program on ESPN, NFL Live, is also getting an overhaul. The new cast features Laura Rutledge, Marcus Spears, Dan Orlovsky, Keyshawn Johnson, and Mina Kimes.

Burleson, who is an emerging star in the media industry, will remain on CBS's NFL pregame show, The NFL Today, either way. The former NFL wide receiver has crossed over to the entertainment industry as a correspondent on Extra.
