Texas Rangers Announce Full Capacity For 2021 Season In New Globe Life Park in Arlington

If you are a Texas Rangers fan or just want to take in a baseball game like fans used to do, Globe Life Park in Arlington, TX has good news for you.

The team announced that fans will be able to fill the stadium, which was scheduled to open last year before the pandemic shut everything around sports down.

Full occupancy at stadium is 40,518.

The stadium was so well received last year, despite the fact fans were not allowed in, that the league held postseason games there, including the World Series.

The first round of games were played at a number of neutral sites, and by the time the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays took the field for the World Series on October 20th, the stadium in Arlington hosted fans at 25 percent capacity, or 11,500 people.

Baseball isn't the only sport played at the park. Last season, it was also retrofitted for use as a football and soccer facility.

While the Rangers announced that the park will be able to handle over 40,000 fans, those in control of keeping the fans safe are working on social-distancing sections.
