Oakland A's Minor League Players Served 'Fyre Festival' Type Food After Games

Rememeber the now infamous 'Fyre Festival' that took place a few years back? If you recall, those who attended the event had little except a cheese sandwich to eat.

Well, it turns out that Oakland A's minor league players are reportedly fed 'Fyre Festival' type of meals after games.

A’s President Dave Kaval has already come out and apologized to the players for serving them horrible meals. Take a look at the tweet below. The food looks downright disgusting.

"This was totally unacceptable. When we found out several weeks ago we terminated the third party vendor. We apologize to our players, staff, and coaches," Kaval said.

"We will redouble our efforts to provide the best options for our team at every level."

The pictures of the lackluster meals went viral on Tuesday evening when fans discovered what was going on with the meals.

Major League Baseball has begun to take more control of postgame meals for teams around baseball. It took quite a few years for MLB to take over the postgame food situation. Now they will have to explain how this happened again, this time, on their watch.
