Nashville Sounds Break Minor League Baseball Attendance Record
Attendance is up everywhere across the sports landscape in 2021, and that includes minor-league baseball.
But nowhere did it increase in the minors quite like Nashville, where the Triple-A Sounds set a franchise attendance record. Actually, make that a minor-league baseball attendance record.
It's true, as the Sounds announced that 436,868 fans packed into First Horizon Park in 2021. That's a crowd of nearly 7,000 per home game.
"A HUGE thank you to the best fans in Minor League Baseball. We can't wait for 2022!" the Sounds tweeted above a video celebrating their attendance record.
The Sounds finished the regular season at 63-56, including 41-24 at home. They are 5-0 in the Final Stretch portion of the schedule.
All along the way, clearly, fans have been watching.
