Dodgers Fans Beat Up Each Other During Game 4 Of NLDS

Fists were flying Tuesday night at Dodgers Stadium where the home team found itself in a 2-1 NLDS hole to the San Francisco Giants and emotions were running high as the season was on the line. Typically, you'd figure this kind of tension would turn into a Giants-Dodgers prison yard shiving incident where a fan would bleed out.

Not Tuesday night. We're talking Dodgers-fan-on-Dodgers-fan crime here. Details are understandably limited here. Bodies hit the ground, wrestling ensued, the masked up security team jumped into the octagon and order was restored.

Give credit here to the Dodgers Stadium security team who is outmanned, likely underpaid and had to jump into the middle of fans who are ready to leave it all on the field. The yellow coats jumped in and did their job, stopping the action.

The Dodgers tied the series at 2-2 with Game 5 tomorrow night in San Francisco.

While I've been busy covering the NFL fan fight beat because it's been blazing hot, the MLB divisional series fan fight action has been stellar. White Sox fan being knocked out by Astros fan was all the rage late last week.

"I was very apprehensive of sharing the video," the guy who recorded the ALDS action told Houston's ABC 13. "I'm a big Astros fan and a native Houstonian, and it doesn't paint Astros fans in a good light, but at the end of the day, if I was that White Sox fan, and there was a video there to exonerate me or show I was the victim and not the person who threw the first punch, I would want that to be brought to light."
