The fight between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. has been postponed from September until a tentative date in late November, Mike Coppinger of The Athletic reports:
The exhibition between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr., scheduled for Sept. 12 in Carson, California, has been postponed, sources tell The Athletic. The new tentative date for the event is Nov. 28

This is going to sound really weird but I’m actually pretty looking forward to this fight. I get that Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. are a combined 105 years old and it’s been quite some time since either was at the top of his game. However, I’m a sucker, and these Tyson training videos have sucked me in because even though the footage is edited he really looks locked in.
We’ll see if it actually happens this time, but for now I’m cautiously optimistic.
