Vaxx Christmas: Fauci Says Holidays Are Unlikely Unless People Get Boosters And Cases Go Down
Dr. Anthony Fauci took a break from his CNN residency to join Margaret Brennan on Face The Nation Sunday morning. Spouting more uncertainty on a virus he's handsomely paid to comment on, Fauci was asked by Brennan on the likelihood that Americans will be able to come together this Christmas — nearly 21 months since the virus began.
"You know it's too soon to tell," answered Fauci. He went on to claim that unless people get vaccinated, receive their booster shots and allow cases to go down, families should refrain from planning to gather for the holidays.
"We just gotta concentrate on getting those numbers down and not try to jump ahead by weeks or months and say what we're gonna do at a particular time. Let's focus, like a laser, on continuing to get those cases down. And we can do it, by people getting vaccinated and also in a situation where boosters are appropriate to get people boosted."
OutKick's Clay Travis spoke out against the Ghost of Christmas Vaxxed, calling out the scrooge for consistently moving the goal posts on a post-COVID America and advising Americans to stay locked in rather than enjoying the most wonderful time of the year.
