Sports Takers On 'First Take' To Address Non-Sports Chauvin Verdict

Get ready for Stephen A. Smith's take on the Derek Chauvin verdict. And a whole lot of Max Kellerman.

That's because the primary talkers on ESPN's First Take intend to give their thoughts on Tuesday's news that Chauvin has been found guilty on all three counts in the George Floyd murder trial.

ESPN tends to dabble in non-sports topics, even though doing so turns off a lot of viewers. That seems especially true of talk shows such as First Take, which needs to fill and kill time by ... well, offering an opinion on everything under the sun. But it seems viewers want their celebrity sports commentators to stick to areas of their expertise.

Like it or not, that won't be the case on Wednesday's show.
