Manning Brothers Reach Deal To Call Monday Night Football

Peyton and Eli Manning are headed back to the NFL. The brothers Manning have reached an agreement with ESPN to call several Monday Night Football games over the next three seasons. Beginning this fall, Peyton and younger brother Eli will be part of an alternate broadcast that the network is referring to as a "MegaCast."

Per ESPN, the Mannings will be joined by another host yet to be named: "The Monday Night Football MegaCast will air on ESPN2 for 10 games in each of the next three seasons and will include current and former NFL players and celebrities joining the Manning brothers on the broadcast. A host has not been named."

The "MegaCast" will serve as an alternate to the network's traditional broadcast that features Steve Levy, Louis Riddick and Brian Griese in the booth.

Eli confirmed the news in a tweet that played off of an old SportsCenter commercial featuring the Manning boys and their dad, Archie.

Each has won two Super Bowl rings, so the Manning brothers have long been courted by major networks to step into the broadcast booth. Aside from their obvious football acumen, the ex-signal callers are widely recognized for their sense of humor. They've both hosted Saturday Night Live to rave reviews.

The Monday Night Football slate kicks off September 13th with the Raiders playing host to Baltimore.
