Last Week The Libs Mocked Florida Treatment, This Week The White House Withholds It Because ‘Equity’

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was pressured over the Department of Health and Human Services' new distribution plan during a media session on Thursday. The new plan changes the amount of monoclonal antibody treatment supplied to states.

A reporter asked Psaki for a response to comments made by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis aimed at the Biden White House and calling the redistribution a biased, ill-intended COVID strategy made to ail the Sunshine State.

"That is not accurate," answered Psaki. "Our supply is not unlimited and we believe it should be equitable... We're not going to give a greater percentage to Florida over Oklahoma."

The redistribution is projected to siphon half of Florida’s supply of monoclonal treatments. Gov. Ron DeSantis claimed that the HHS' goal to make the treatment access "equitable," will ultimately come at the expense of Floridians.

"We're very, very concerned with the Biden administration and the HHS' recent, abrupt, sudden announcement that they are going to cut the number of monoclonal antibodies that are going to be sent to the state of Florida," said DeSantis. "To just kind of pull the rug out from everyone a week after the president himself said they were going to be increasing the distributions by 50%, it’s very, very problematic.”

According to the Fox News report: "Distribution sites could order the antibody treatments directly from the supplier. Now, the federal government will decide how many doses each state will receive and leave it to state governments to ration it out among locations."
