Floyd Mayweather-Logan Paul Draws Strong PPV Buys

Videos by OutKick

People were mad. People still watched. No, I’m not still talking about the presidential debate.

According to Mike Coppinger, the Floyd Mayweather-Logan Paul exhibition generated over 1 million buys on pay-per-view. A precise final number is not yet available.

The fight was available for $49.99 via both Showtime and Fanmio.

Should Mayweather get back into the ring with one of the Paul brothers or some other random social media star, that number will be the reason why.

I have no problem with Showtime airing this fight. It was an event. Hardcore boxing fans don’t want to hear this, but there was more interest in Mayweather battling a YouTuber than a prizefight between the sport’s top active boxers.

For context, the much-hyped Wilder-Fury II generated between 800,000 and 850,000 buys.

Yep, Mayweather picked up another win.

Not true at all. Lopez vs lomachenko had just under 3 million viewers.

If gervonta davis was fighting teofimo lopez or Joshua fought fury those fights would put up big numbers. Problem is boxing rarely makes the fights that the fans want to see.
