Man Pulls A Gun On Kitchen Staff Until He Gets Fried Chicken, Waffles After Mask Dispute

A man denied service at a California chicken joint because he wasn't wearing a mask took matters into his own hands. He returned to Roscoe's House of Chicken with a gun, asking for his damn chicken and waffles.

That's right, the guy pulled a gun on the kitchen staff Wednesday night around dinner time and demanded his damn chicken and waffles. He then took his order and ran off, according to a surveillance video posted by ABC-7 Los Angeles.

Roscoe's staff, according to ABC-7 was caught off-guard because the guy wasn't going after the cash register. "He comes straight toward me with a gun, pointing at me and saying, 'Put all the chicken in the bag,'" Roscoe's cook Robert Gonzalez told the TV station.

How good are the chicken and waffles at Roscoe's? Zagat gives the place a 4.4 out of 5 ranking, adding “weekdays are the best bet to avoid long lines.”

The suspect wanted chicken, waffles, and syrup during the holdup. "He didn't take any cash," manager Angela Prieto added. "He actually took chicken and before he walked out the door, he took syrup for his chicken."

There are three main chicken & waffle options at Roscoe's that the guy seemed to be after. One of those dinners on the menu is the Obama Special that comes with three wings and a waffle, potato salad or french fries for $14.39. A basic 1/4 chicken prepared southern style with a waffle will run you $17.39. A very basic leg or thigh and waffle is just $10.79.

Those chicken and waffle meals are so damn good they're worth pulling a gun on the kitchen staff to get the goods. Gavin Newsom's approval ratings are tanking, and people want their damn chicken. The walls are crumbling on the California governor.
