Mac Jones' Girlfriend Sophie Scott Is Ready For The National Championship

It's hard to believe it's been eight years since Brent Musburger told Kirk Herbstreit, “You quarterbacks get all the good-looking women" during Notre Dame-Alabama national championship game. Katherine Webb, then the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron, soon rode high on a wave of Internet fame, thanks to Musburger.

“AJ’s doing some things right,” Herbstreit replied to Brent's compliment. “If you’re a youngster in Alabama, start getting the football out and throw it around the backyard with Pop,” Musburger shot back.

Tonight in Miami, Sophie Scott, the girlfriend of Alabama starting quarterback Mac Jones, is one family camera shot away from national championship attention. Scott, who graduated from Alabama in December, is with the Jones family in Miami as they prepare for Mac to possibly join the ranks of Bama QB royalty, along with McCarron, Jalen Hurts, Tua, Greg McElroy and those who came before the Saban era. This is Mac's chance to sign autographs at Alabama malls for the rest of his life.

A win tonight and Mac Jones may even end up with an Alabama car dealership down the road. A win tonight guarantees Sophie and Mac royalty status for the rest of their lives. That's all on the line tonight.

Stars are born on national championship night. Sophie's ready. Mac's ready. Now it's time to get it on.
