Saturday’s matchup between LSU and Florida is expected to be postponed, Brooks Kubena reports for The Advocate in Baton Rouge. If and when this news becomes official, it will mark the second SEC game to be postponed due to Covid-19. This weekend’s game between Missouri and Vanderbilt has also been postponed.
On Tuesday, Florida announced that five new players had tested positive for Covid-19. Florida’s student newspaper, The Independent Alligator, reported Tuesday that a total of 19 players had tested positive. We knew at that point the game was in limbo.
Florida coach Dan Mullen, who earlier this week said he wanted fans to pack the swamp with 90,000 fans for the LSU game, sought to clarify those remarks earlier today:
"I certainly apologize if I offended anybody out there," Mullen says of "Pack the Swamp" comments.

The SEC has two bye weeks per team built into their schedule to account for postponements due to Covid-19 protocols.
Update: Brett McMurphy of Stadium reports the game has been postponed:
Saturday’s LSU at Florida game postponed, sources told @Stadium. 1st report @BKubena. Tentative reschedule date is Dec. 12. This is 2nd SEC game postponed this week

How the FUCK can someone be offended by anything Mullen said? The only offensive thing is the fact the chickenshit school President, who banned the gator bait chant for no reason, forced him to make a bullshit ass apology. And we don’t even get a tattered and reeling LSU secondary to take out our frustrations on this week. What a JOKE.
