Lindsey Vonn Available As Relationship With P.K. Subban Goes Cold

Lindsey Vonn and P.K. Subban have called it a relationship one year after Vonn announced she asked Suppan to marry her.

Vonn, 36, is a three-time Olympic medalist and now retired skier. Subban, 31, is defenseman with the New Jersey Devils. If they weren't the sports world's most popular couple, they were undoubtedly the most popular couple who take part in winter sports.

"Lindsey is one of the most kind and caring people I know," Subban said on his Instagram account. "I will always treasure our time as a couple together and the many laughs we shared."

Vonn also made an announcement on Instagram, with a picture of her and a smiling Subban in brighter times.

"Over the past 3 years PK and I have had some incredible times together. He is a kind, good man, and someone I respect a great deal," she wrote in the caption. "However, after much consideration we have decided to move forward separately. We will always remain friends and love each other immensely. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time."

It's always interesting when celebrities announces a split to their many social media followers, then ask for privacy over a breakup that they themselves made very public. But that's where Vonn and Subban are today.

The couple met in 2017 at an event staged by Nickelodeon. They announced their relationship in June 2018 at the CMT Music Awards. Again, not sure how many country music fans follow hockey and skiing -- but Vonn and Subban were making the announcement, anyway.

Vonn and Subban later took to Vogue to announced their engagement in August 2019.
