Lincoln, Nebraska Man Has Bone to Pick With Boneless Wings at City Council Meeting

Every once in awhile a clip emerges on social media of someone speaking truth to power, no matter the consequences. Today, that clip is of Lincoln, Nebraska resident Andrew Christensen on a mission to right the wrongs of misnamed boneless chicken wings:

Christensen is on solid ground here in the sense that the name boneless chicken wings makes no sense when the meat inside is in fact chicken breast. #ChangeTheName. Where he loses me is when he calls them trash — there’s room on this planet for the product, even if you call them buffalo style chicken tenders or saucy nugs. Sometimes you’re not trying for eating your meal to be hard work and boneless wings (even if they shouldn’t be called that) are a perfectly justifiable order.
