Exclusive: Fox Sports Plans New Morning Radio Show

Fox Sports Radio will name Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington, and Jonas Knox the new permanent co-hosts of the network's morning radio show, OutKick has learned.

2 Pros and a Cup of Joe will air weekdays from 6 to 9 am ET on more than 350 stations nationwide, effective immediately.

OutKick's Clay Travis previously hosted the Fox Sports Radio morning show before moving to the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show in June.

“The FOX Sports Radio family was so proud when Clay Travis was chosen to team up with Buck Sexton to continue the tradition of excellence created by Rush Limbaugh,” said Don Martin, Senior Vice President of Sports Programming for Premiere Networks.

“At FSR, we make a commitment to each of our affiliates to deliver the best national sports lineup in the country, 24/7. Clay's departure left a hole in our roster, but today, we proudly continue that commitment as we serve up a breakfast of champions with the launch of 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe."

Quinn, Arrington, and Knox have guest-hosted FSR’s weekday morning time slot since late May.

Brady Quinn, two-time All-American quarterback at Notre Dame, is also an analyst for Fox's Big Noon Kickoff alongside Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart, Bob Stoops, and host Rob Stone.

“Since leaving the NFL, I was constantly looking for that next team. I’ve found that at Fox Sports radio with LaVar and Jonas," Quinn said on the move.

As you guessed, Arrington is the other Pro. The three-time Pro Bowl linebacker says FSR’s morning show "is the best spot in all of radio."

"We are the ones responsible for getting your day started! I’m super pumped up to give a positive, fun and entertaining experience - to get the day going in an uplifting way," Arrington adds.

"Brady and Jonas are brilliant personalities - they’re so creative and witty, and I enjoy every minute of working with them. I’m thankful to Don Martin and Scott Shapiro for believing in me. This will be a legendary show, and I’m happy to be a part of it.”

Meanwhile, Jonas Knox credited his mother for his journey in radio:

“When Don Martin and Scott Shapiro gave me the news, I broke down. Not because of the journey, but because of the reason. My Momma is that reason. She is why I fell in love with radio as a child. She’s also my hero. Getting to tell her that ‘we did it’ was one of the best moments of my life.”

Congrats to all three.

2 Pros and a Cup of Joe will lead into the Dan Patrick Show (9 am to noon ET), followed by The Herd with Colin Cowherd (12 to 3 pm) and the Doug Gottlieb Show (3 to 6 pm ET).
