Lacrosse Community Says Pro Lax Bro Has Part Of His Finger Bitten Off By Another Lax Bro In A Hotel Fight

The lacrosse community is buzzing this morning over what allegedly went down over the weekend between two lax bros at a hotel. The story goes that pro lax bro Matt Gaudet of the Chrome Lacrosse Club, which plays in the Premiere Lacrosse League (which has a TV contract with NBC, to give you perspective on what level we're talking about here), allegedly had the tip of his finger bitten off during a hotel fight with Austin Staats of the Chaos Lacrosse Club.

That's the word on the street amongst the lax bros who are still trying to put their fingers on an exact cause for why a lax bro went so far over the edge that he's willing to bite off part of a finger. What we do know for sure is that the Premiere Lacrosse League has released a statement saying both players have been suspended indefinitely and Staats' player profile page seems to have a self-induced loading error.

You thought the Brooks Koepka-Bryson DeChambeau storyline was crazy. That's nothing compared to what we allegedly have going on between Staats and Gaudet. We have part of a finger missing and a league statement. Is this to the level of immediate lifetime banishment? There's not much precedent when it comes to suspending athletes for biting off a finger. Mike Tyson was fined $3 million for biting off Evander Holyfield's ear while NHLer Alex Burrows wasn't suspended for biting Patrice Bergeron's finger during a 2011 Stanley Cup final game.

WARNING! Don't scroll any further unless you're looking for video of the mangled finger. I tried to warn you!
