The Knicks have banned the fan who was caught on camera spitting on Hawks star Trae Young during Game 2 at Madison Square Garden. We’ll always support heckling players of all sports, but you can’t do this, especially since it’s absolutely disgusting.

“We investigated the matter and determined that this patron, who was not a season ticket holder, did indeed spit on Trae Young, and for that reason, he is now banned from the Garden indefinitely. We apologize to Trae and the entire Atlanta Hawks organization for this fan’s behavior. This was completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated in our venue. We have turned the information over to the appropriate authorities,” they tweeted.
Not exactly sure why the fan being a season ticket holder would matter whatsoever, but the team apparently found that worth mentioning. It’s possible that the Knicks wanted to make it appear as if this had been the fan’s first trip to Madison Square Garden. They did the right thing by banning the fan, and the rest of what’s left of the NBA’s fanbase should take notice.

Man people are just out of control or better yet quit serving alcohol at games I know its revenue but so many problems and they just spoil it for everyone else just trying to enjoy the experience.
Doesn’t happen nearly often enough for all this.
Let’s just punish individuals when they break rules and not make new rules.

The impulsive part of me wants to let Trae Young decide what should happen to the fan but having him banned is proper.
Should we ban guns too since once in a while some asshole makes all legal gun owners look bad? No I don’t think we should. Punish the jerk and leave the rest of us out of it.

Regarding guns, I spoke to a man who works in the firearms industry. I asked him:
“since there is a zero percent chance that people are going to hand over their 2A rights w/ ‘government buyback programs’ … what can the Biden administration actually do?”
he told me: “the left will eventually use bogus carbon emission regulations to make sure than ammunition simply can’t/won’t be made. It will be too expensive”
He is probably correct on this.
American-made ammo may get regulated, but most ammo in the world isn’t made here. Obviously, I’d prefer to buy Made in the USA, but if they regulate here, people will just buy from elsewhere. The Russians, for one, make really good/reliable shit too.

I’m hoping more fans get banned for life. I personally banned myself for life from the NBA. They’ll be begging for fans as they completely alienate them and only the white BETA and black fans remain.
