Kirk Cousins Coronavirus Fear On Scale Of 1-10? .000001

Kirk Cousins has weighed in on coronavirus, wearing masks and let's just say the Vikings quarterback didn't hold back during a podcast interview with NFL Network's Kyle Brandt. Cousins, who says he has to abide by the protocols put forth by the league and is respectful of others by wearing a mask, has some personal thoughts that are going to set off some emotions amongst those firmly entrenched in the Great Coronavirus War of 2020.

To put it bluntly, Cousins isn't scared one bit of coronavirus and put his name firmly behind quotes others in his position won't make public. The COVID action gets moving around the 10:30 mark.

Kyle Brandt: On a spectrum of 1 – masks are stupid and you’re all a bunch of lemmings – and 10 is I’m not leaving my master bedroom for 10 years, where do you land?

Kirk Cousins: “I’m not going to call anybody stupid for the trouble it could get me in, but I’m about a .000001.”

Brandt: Really, how come?

Cousins: “I want to respect other people’s concerns, but for me personally, if you’re talking no one else can get the virus, what is your concern you could get it? I’d say I’m going to go about my daily life. If I get it, I’m goin to ride it out. I’m going to let nature do its course. Uhh, survival of the fittest kind of approach and just say if it knocks me out, it knocks me out. I’m going to be ok. Even if I die, I die. I kind of have peace about that. That’s really where I fall on it, so my opinion on wearing a mask is really about being respectful to other people. It really has nothing to do with my personal thoughts.”
