Kevin Durant Is All Alone

Kevin Durant must now do what he's spent his entire career trying to avoid: getting it done as the lone star.

After Kyrie Irving's ankle injury on Sunday, OutKick's Dr. Chao predicts that the Nets will have to advance to the next round without both James Harden and Kyrie Irving.

Yikes.

After two consecutive losses, a 2-2 series, and injuries to two of the Big 3 -- Brooklyn is now an underdog to even make it out of the round. Following Sunday's win, the Bucks are favored at FanDuel SportsBook to advance.

Quite the change from one day ago.

Based on how the Nets looked after Irving's injury on Sunday, this series may only go six. Take the Bucks.

In the bigger picture, the Nets are still favored to win the NBA title. Though given the series odds, that may change by the next update.

Unless you expect Durant to go lone wolf and get the job done, there's value in placing a quick bet elsewhere before the odds shift.

The eye test says the Jazz are the NBA's most complete team. Yet I'd look for a team with greater value. Interestingly, that leads us to the Bucks at +480. If they shoot like they did Sunday, no one is beating them.

Yes, I see the Clippers' odds. Stay away from those guys. I'm not sure if they are the best team in three years or lucky to have made the playoffs...

Head over to FanDuel SportsBook to bet the remainder of the NBA Playoffs.
