Kentucky Assistant Coach Arrested on DUI Charges

Kentucky wide receivers coach Jovon Bouknight was arrested Saturday and charged with driving under the influence.

The Courier Journal reports Bouknight was arrested by Erlanger Police Department just before 4 a.m. Saturday on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs, alcohol, etc.; possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle and speeding 26 mph or more over the speed limit.

The Courier Journal reports the university is aware of the arrest and said matters are being handled internally, according to a UK spokesperson.

Bouknight is entering his second season with the team after joining the program from Oregon in March 2020.
