Julio Declines No. 11 From AJ Brown, Number Announcement Coming Wednesday

Titans star wideout AJ Brown will keep No. 11, despite offering it to newly acquired WR1, Julio Jones. According to the team, Jones is now expected to announce his new number tomorrow. A good look early for team chemistry.

"#11 until I retire. I tried to give it up and he wouldn't take it. Respect," AJ Brown tweeted.

In a way, this gesture shows Brown couldn't care less about his ego heading into this upcoming season. We already know how star receivers tend to struggle with their 'me' mentalities, but clearly this won't be an issue for Brown -- at least not yet.

Keep in mind that Julio Jones wore No. 82 in high school. He may just go low now that the NFL eased their jersey regulations last month, though. What should the seven-time pro bowler wear next year? If he plays anywhere close to the level we're used to, he will just look good no matter what he chooses.
