Joe Judge Shreds Eagles For Showing 'Disrespect' To The Game

The two showdowns between the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles in 2021 are going to be must-watch television. Not only are they division rivals, but there's a storm brewing between these two teams.

Giants head coach Joe Judge is disgusted with the Eagles over tanking their final game against the Washington Football Team for better draft position. He made that blatantly clear during a rant on Monday. He never mentioned Philadelphia by name, but the target was clear.

“To disrespect the effort that everyone put forward to make this season a success for the NFL, to disrespect the game by going out there and not competing for 60 minutes and doing everything you can to help those players win,” Judge said. “We will never do that as long as I’m the head coach of the New York Giants.”

As much heat as Doug Pederson and the Eagles have taken about tanking, plenty of people have also criticized the Giants players who voiced their frustrations during the game between Washington and Philadelphia. It's difficult for a team that went 6-10 to argue that they earned a playoff spot and were somehow jobbed for the chance by the Eagles.

That is probably the response we are going to get over this rant from Judge. Does he have a point? Absolutely. Are we completely convinced New York wouldn't have done something similar? Not even a little bit.
