Jaguars Fan Sets Up Shop In End Zone, Calls For Pass From Trevor Lawrence

For many, Sunday football is therapy.

After a rocky week for the Jaguars, fans in Jacksonville deserved some levity as they welcomed Davis Mills' Houston Texans for a Week 15 matchup.

Firing head coach Urban Meyer on Wednesday, the Jags prepared to welcome the Texans under interim HC Darrell Bevell.

As the game played out Sunday, one Jaguars fan did the gutsy deed of running onto the field, also dressed up as Trevor Lawrence. The doppelganger appeared at the top of the broadcast, calling for the ball and counting Mississippi's until a security guard swoops in with the tackle.

Lawrence handed the ball to James Robinson for the goal-line score, but what he missed in a potential TD pass to the groupie was deeper than football. Best of all, the fan displayed exceptional house manners by kicking off both shoes before scurrying around.

Robinson's score inched Jacksonville closer to the Texans' lead at 14-10.

Stadium security eventually escorted the fan off the field, taking with him the team's winning spirit as the Jags fell to Davis Mills' Texans, 30-16. The Texans (3-11) kept their spot in the AFC South standings at third, while the Jags position themselves to pick first overall for a second straight year at 2-12.
