Jabrill Peppers’ Hot Mic Is The Energy We Need For The Week

Peppers didn't need a couple pots of coffee, a can of Red Bull, or some booger sugar to energize though. He just needed a coin flip to go his way.

Prior to the overtime period in the game against the Saints, Jabrill Peppers and New Orleans' Malcolm Jenkins met at midfield for the coin toss. Just before the referee tossed 25 cents into the air, he asked Peppers to call "heads or tails," as is customary for the visiting team.

"Heads, baby, heads," shouted Peppers.

"I'm confident, I'm confident," he added, as the the coin made its way to the turf.

Peppers was right to feel confident. The coin landed on heads, giving the Giants the choice of kicking or receiving. And that's when the hot mic caught Peppers bursting with all the energy of an Ultimate Warrior ring entrance.

"Boom! We want that ball. F--- em," a jubilant Peppers belted out, as he bounced his way to the Giants' sideline.

Peppers' excitement carried over to the rest of his team. On the sixth play of overtime, New York running back Saquon Barkley found the end zone, giving the Giants their first win of the season.

Peppers and the Giants took care of their own business on Sunday. Now about those TPS reports...
