Is 'WandaVision' The Worst Disney+ Creation Ever?

Disney+ has done a masterful job of pumping up "WandaVision," a new miniseries based on the Marvel Comics characters Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Vision. That right there is enough to confuse a lot of people, because the comics weren't exactly wildly popular.

And despite the impressive marketing efforts, "WandaVision" is drawing criticism from even the diehards. Those who are just turning on the show out of curiosity seem to be quickly turning it off.

Actors Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany are reprising their respective roles as Wanda Maximoff and Vision from the film series, and they have indeed drawn some praise for their performances. But that's been about the only positive vibes this show has created since launching Friday.

That said, the cast and crew of "WandaVision" do deserve some credit for their resiliency. Filming began in Atlanta in November 2019, but had to be paused in March because of the COVID-19 virus. Production resumed in Los Angeles in September and the nine episodes were completed this past November.

But the final product, it seems, is leaving a lot to be desired.
