Illinois Democratic Social Media Director Fired After Tweeting Support For Driver In Waukesha Tragedy

A member of the DuPage Democratic Party decided to release a vile tweet intended to prod at Kyle Rittenhouse's cohorts after he defeated charges stemming from events in Kenosha, Wis.

Mary Lemanski made her pointed commentary while piggybacking off Sunday's tragic event in Waukesha that cost the lives of six civilians and injured more than 40 people during the holiday festivities.

The sordid democrat tweeted out, per the Chicago Tribune, "It was probably just self-defense #Wisconsin #Kyle Rittenhouse."

In a follow-up to that tweet, she added, "I'm sad. I'm sad anytime anyone dies. I just believe in Karma and this came around quick on the citizens of Wisconsin."

Warped narratives of the Kyle Rittenhouse scene and its conclusion continue to stir anger and scorn among democrats. Enough to keep the nation from uniting after a terrible loss of life on Sunday when a long-time criminal drove his SUV through paraders — both young and old.

Lemanski operated as the "social media manager for the Democratic Party in DuPage County" and resigned from her position after the organization had to apologize for the statements.

"She does not speak for us, and we unequivocally reject her statements about the tragic events that occurred yesterday in Waukesha," DuPage Chairman Ken Mejia-Beal said in response to Lemanski's tweets.

"I firmly believe in the right to freedom of speech," Lemanski said in response to the DuPage Democratic Party's rebuke. "I also believe that you must be willing to accept responsibility and the consequences of your actions for that free speech. I, unfortunately, made some remarks that were not in good taste regarding the Waukesha tragedy yesterday."
