So, you know how this goes. You catch the news about a hurricane, and you basically play the Something? Nothing? game. Right now, it looks like Hurricane Delta will hit Mexico on Wednesday and move up towards the central Gulf Coast on Saturday.
I’ll admit that since I live in Chicago, I don’t actively follow national weather. I first learned of the hurricane from this SEC tweet about monitoring weather developments:

According to this forecast from the CBS affiliate WWLTV in Louisiana, Hurricane Delta could be on a path to potentially affect parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and Arkansas on Saturday. Skip to the two-minute mark:
Let’s all send our collective juju into the universe in the hopes that this hurricane does not to strike a direct blow.
I understand your POV, but thinking Delta’s only affects are going to be related to college football is ludicrous.
C’mon, man! This is a sports site. He is, appropriately, addressing potential impacts from the point of view of his target audience.
