Houston High School Game Ends On Beautiful 51-Yard Hail Mary

Need a great Hail Mary to get the juices pumping this Saturday morning? Then you're going to love this one out of Houston where Spring (TX) was down 23-21 to Westfield with time for one play and everyone in the stadium knowing it was time for a Hail Mary out of junior quarterback Bishop Davenport.

"I'm a little surprised that the Westfield defense isn't backing up more," one of the Texan Live broadcasters says before Davenport takes the snap.

You guys know where this heading from 51-yards out. Davenport shows off the gun.

Don't pay attention to the score at the top of the screen. Bert Brocker, one of the guys on the call says he just hadn't updated the score on his computer. Trust him, it's 23-21 Westfield when this happens.

Westfield thought they had this game locked up after a 47-yard field goal bomb out of its kicker with 25-seconds left on the clock. Watch the Westfield crowd erupt thinking they were going to 3-0. Then the football gods take over and now it's Spring 3-0 and Westfield going back to work on its Hail Mary defense. That's how it goes sometimes.
