Hot Mic Catches Australian TV Anchors Slamming Novak Djokovic

Unvaccinated Novak Djokovic’s run as enemy No. 1 in Australia is going strong and turned into a hot mic moment for two of Australia’s highest profile TV anchors who had something to say about the tennis star and his unwillingness to get the COVID jab.

The hot mic caught 7News Melbourne anchors Rebecca Maddern and Mike Amor slamming Djokovic, who arrived at the Australian Open Tuesday. Australians continue to be triggered that an unvaccinated foreigner would have the audacity to enter their country where COVID cases have absolutely skyrocketed despite the country’s government hammering its citizens with iron fist policies for nearly two years.

Maddern can be heard saying, “Whatever way you look at it, Novak Djokovic is a lying, sneaky, asshole,” according to The Daily Mail.

The Mail’s analysis of the audio reveals Amor joining Maddern with his very own profanity-laced tirade against the tennis player.

Here’s the full exchange between Amor and Maddern as heard by the Mail:

Maddern: Whatever way you look at it, Novak Djokovic is a lying, sneaky, a***hole.

Amor: He’s an a***hole.

RM: Like, whatever way you look at it, it’s unfortunate that everybody else stuffed up around him.

MA: That’s it, I mean he’s an a***hole.

MA: He got a bullshit f*****g excuse and then fell over his own f*****g lies. It’s just what happens, right, that’s what happened.

RM: Yeah. And then, he now then ticking he didn’t go to Spain.

MA: Yeah, yeah.

RM: It’s just like…

MA: I think he’s going to get away with it.

RM: Oh, he is. He’s going to get away with it.

MA: I think most fair minded people would say ‘Look, the bloke’s an a***hole.’ Did we, did they do the right thing by him, I don’t know.

RM: No. I don’t think so.

MA: They f****d it up. That’s the problem, isn’t it?

RM: I don’t think, I don’t think anything was gained by putting him in (an) immigration hotel.

MA: No, but the trouble is, how do you justify the person (who is) also on the same plane with him who also has…

RM: You can’t justify it, but the fact is, life is never fair.

MA: Yeah.

RM: Some people fly first class and some people, do you know what, it’s never fair.

MA: Yeah. But that poor Czech girl that was f*****g sent home. Hunted down and sent home.

Let’s cut to the chase here — Australia’s not going to kick Djokovic out of the country. In fact, he was practicing in Rod Laver Arena Tuesday. This was COVID political theater. The TV anchors know it. The politicians know it. The citizens know it.

Australia has this tennis tournament that gains worldwide attention, and organizers need the world’s No. 1 men’s player in the field.

Djokovic was the fall guy for Australia’s failed policies that have sent people away to COVID camps and policies that have prevented unvaccinated people from going to work. Australian politicians pretty much told people to direct all of the anger that has built up over the last two years at this guy who’s in town to hit tennis balls.

He’s the bad guy. He’s the one who has been holding you down. Lash out at him.

It’s already happening. Look at what happened Monday when it was announced that Djokovic was a free man. Chaos. And the politicians could’ve stopped all of this a long time ago. This is on them and the lunatics who keep pushing the common citizens to the brink.

  1. The TV anchors are just gvt propagandists parroting whatever they are told to say. They have no capacity to think for themselves and to question why they have skyrocketing cases if the vast majority of people are jabbed and/or locked down. Just like in Nazi Germany, they will be hung along with their communist overlords.

  2. The venom displayed by those two idiots really highlight the danger of the fascist nature of the leftist governments wanting to control the daily lives of its citizens. A virus is going to virus and Australia can’t stop it by locking down its people.
