Gonzaga, Washington Matchup Postponed Due To COVID

Sunday's men's basketball game between No. 5 Gonzaga and Washington has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols within the Huskies' program.

Gonzaga announced the schedule changes in a news release and said the series was important to both programs.

"This series is important to both schools and the administrations will begin working on an agreeable date for this game in Spokane next year," the release reads.

The Zags (8-2) are next scheduled to face Texas Tech on Dec. 18, while the Huskies (4-5) said the program will continue modified workouts and to receive consultation from the medical team about the next steps working toward returning to full participation.

Washington is also slated to play on Dec. 18 at home against Seattle.
